Catering Assistant at The John Wesley CEM Primary School
We have a fantastic opportunity for a General Catering Assistant to join our team. Your role will be to assist preparation and serve a range of inspirational healthy menus to meet our children’s dietary needs.
We are looking for an individual who can:
* Assist in the preparation and serving a range of inspirational menus to meet the dietary needs of our children
* Work Monday to Friday, working 20 hours per week(10:00- 14:00)
* Use their Food Hygiene Certificate within their practice
* Ensure they keep the kitchen area clean, appropriately presented in accordance with health and safety, food hygiene and COSHH regulations at all times.
* Ensure that COSHH, Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
* Be passionate about school catering and positively communicate with all children and staff
* Express a willingness to learn and develop
* Operate kitchen equipment safely, following appropriate training.
* Undertake cleaning and washing up as directed in the kitchen and dining area, including putting tables away
* Work as a team in a busy school kitchen
