Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FLT Reach Driver to join our Aylesford team, supporting a busy retail warehouse operation in a modern, fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in keeping stock moving safely, accurately and efficiently while working as part of a supportive and dependable team.
This is a full-time, permanent position working 12-hour Night shifts on a 4 on, 3 off pattern, including weekends, from 19:00 to 07:00.
The role is based in a chilled warehouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable working in temperatures of around 3 degrees. You will also be operating in a high-level racking environment of up to 14 metres, so confidence and experience using a Reach Truck at height is essential.
Salary: £40,687.47 per annum
What you'll be doing:
* Operating a Reach Truck (FLT) to move stock safely and efficiently
* Confident working to clear targets and KPI’s and delivering strong performance
* Loading, unloading, and picking of stock and orders within the chilled warehouse
* Assemble customer orders from the order profile.
* Ensure the correct amount of product is picked.
* Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times.
* Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse
Qualifications
* A valid D1 or D2 Reach Truck licence is essential, along with previous Reach Truck operating experience. Internal or external licences will be considered.
* Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment.
* Confident working to targets and KPI standards in a fast-paced operation.
* Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy.
