About the Art Department:

About the Role:
* Teach Art and Design with a focus on Textiles across Key Stages 3 and 4, potentially Key Stage 5.
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
* Guide students in using a variety of textiles and techniques.
* Develop students' understanding of design principles and creative processes.
* Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the department's curriculum development.
* Foster a love of art and design in students.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues.
* Participate in professional development opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS or equivalent.
* Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Art and Design, with a specialism in Textiles.
* Demonstrates a passion for teaching Art and Design.
* Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
* Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive learning environment.
