We're seeking Seasonal Lab Assistants to join our supportive Lab team from early February until late April or early May. You'll work Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings during peak season, helping ensure our apples meet the highest quality standards.
What you will be doing:
As a Lab Assistant, you'll carry out routine tests on apples to gather essential information for our orchards — including determining fruit maturity and identifying any quality issues. This is a hands‑on role where you'll be:
* Prepping fruit samples
* Carrying out simple, routine tests
* Recording data accurately
* Following clear instructions from the Lab Supervisor
* Helping keep the lab running smoothly during the busy season

* Are comfortable being on your feet for most of the day
