Health & Safety Manager
Full Time - Permanent
Monday to Friday Office Hours
Basic Salary: £45,000.00 to £50,000.00 Per Annum (Negotiable depending on experience)

Location: Skelmersdale, Lancashire
Due to further expansion plans, our market leading client is seeking an enthusiastic & dynamic Health and Safety Manager to join their highly successful business and support the board of Directors as Health and Safety Manager on a Full Time Permanent basis.
As a Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Taking on a leading role, become responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety onsite
* Drive and innovate Health and Safety practices at the site as a Health and Safety Manager
* Dedicated and motivated in achieving ISO45001 certification in line with current company achievements
* Improve and develop current policies and procedures and ensure measures are implemented to achieving standards
* Organise and hold Health and Safety meetings in order to communicate new strategies
* Liaising with regulatory organisations and submit reports in a timely manner as a Health and Safety Manager
* Work and maintain relationships with internal and external colleagues as a Health and Safety Manager
* Develop and maintain a culture of continuous Health and Safety improvements and practices.
As an Health and Safety Manager, you MUST have:
* A Minimum NEBOSH certificate or NVQ equivalent
* A high level of knowledge around Health and Safety legislations and practices
* Minimum of 3 to 5 Years experience in a Health and Safety role
* A Chemical and Manufacturing background would be highly desirable as a Health and Safety Manager.
