We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Support Officer to join our team and provide critical support across a range of projects within our PMO function. This role is ideal for a candidate with demonstrated experience in program or change management, particularly within financial services, and a strong understanding of operational risk and compliance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide project support across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with PMO standards and delivery methodologies.
* Assist in the coordination and implementation of change initiatives across business units.
* Support program governance through risk, issue, and dependency management.
* Work closely with stakeholders to ensure appropriate internal controls are in place and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
* Liaise with risk, compliance, and assurance teams to ensure alignment with internal frameworks.
* Assist in the deployment and use of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms such as IBM OpenPages or similar tools.
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in PMO, change management, or program management roles within a financial services environment.
* Strong working knowledge of operational risk frameworks and internal control processes.
* Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory objectives relevant to the financial services sector.
* Exposure to or experience with GRC platforms, particularly IBM OpenPages, is highly desirable.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities.
