Copywriter / Communications Manager (Part-Time, Hybrid)

Contract: 6-month initial contract

Role Overview
We are looking for a talented Copywriter / Communications Manager to take ownership of our company’s tone of voice and ensure all written communication reflects our brand, values, and commitment to clarity.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is confident producing high-quality content across multiple formats while also shaping strategic communication standards. The role includes rewriting and maintaining all customer support information, creating help guides and how-to content for our platforms, refreshing our websites, driving content for blogs and white papers, and supporting the creation of videos and social media content.
You will be responsible for managing and overseeing all documentation and written materials produced by the business.
Key Responsibilities
Content and Copywriting
* Develop and maintain the company’s tone of voice across all channels
* Rewrite, update, and maintain all support documentation, FAQs, and help guides
* Produce high-quality written content for websites, blogs, landing pages, newsletters, and internal documents
* Create clear and accessible instructional content for both internal teams and external users
* Write white papers, case studies, and long-form content that supports market positioning and sales collateral
* Support the scriptwriting and planning of informative videos for social media and the website
* Produce compelling, brand-aligned social media content across multiple platforms
Communications Management
* Maintain a central repository for all documentation and content
* Work closely with product, customer success, marketing, and sales teams to gather insights and convert them into user-friendly materials
* Ensure all platform content is accurate and up to date with current features and best practices
* Contribute to the development of long-term content and communication strategies as the company grows
Skills and Experience
Essential
* Proven experience as a copywriter, content writer, communications manager, or similar role
* A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of content types such as guides, website copy, and blogs
* Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
* Experience producing clear instructional content and help documentation
* Ability to translate technical or product information into simple, user-friendly language
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
Desirable
* Experience in healthcare, digital health, or pharmacy-related organisations
* Experience working in SaaS or software product environments
* Familiarity with UX writing principles
* Understanding of SEO best practices
* Basic understanding of video content planning or scriptwriting
Working Arrangements
* Part-time role of approximately 2 days per week with flexibility around scheduling
* Hybrid arrangement with occasional days in our W3, London office
* Opportunities for the role to grow as the business expands
* Initial 6-month contract with the potential to extend or evolve into a larger role
