Harleyford Golf Club is a premier golfing destination, known for its exceptional course, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to providing members and guests with the highest standard of service. We are seeking a proactive and organised individual to join our team and play a key role in supporting membership services, competitions, pro-shop operations, events, and daily club management.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Administration
* Handle membership renewals, enquiries, and new sales.
* Provide excellent service to members, ensuring questions are answered promptly and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate membership records.
Competition Administration
* Organise and manage club competitions, including Majors, knockouts, and prize payouts.
* Work with the Operations Manager and Committee to ensure competitions run smoothly.
Pro-Shop Supervision
* Supervise pro-shop staff and ensure high service standards.
* Oversee stock ordering, monthly stock takes, and product promotions.
* Manage the check-in process and improve efficiency.
* Coordinate prize draws and promotions.
* Manage rental equipment including buggies, trolleys, and other items.
Social Media & Marketing Support
* Assist in creating and posting regular social media content.
* Help drive member and guest engagement through online platforms.
Events & Functions
* Assist in planning, running, and facilitating large-scale golf events.
* Ensure smooth delivery of events in line with Harleyford's standards.
Duty Management
* Act as Duty Manager on designated days as required by the Operations Manager.
* Oversee daily club operations and ensure member satisfaction.
Requirements
* Basic knowledge of golf is essential.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confident with IT systems (knowledge of golf software is an advantage).
* Ability to supervise and motivate staff.
* Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and event days as required.
* Customer-focused with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
