What you’ll be doing:
* Lead a small team of food managers to oversee the grocery shop floor in one of our supermarkets.
* Coordinate exciting trading events by collaborating with the store leadership team, ensuring success during occasions like Christmas and Easter.
* Take full accountability for the store in the absence of a store manager, role modeling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the food hall.
* Ensure compliance with processes and safety standards while fostering a passion for excellent shopkeeping and creating exceptional shopping experiences.
* Manage a large team of colleagues, ensuring they perform at their best, are present on the shop floor when needed, and conduct all people-related matters properly, including celebrating successes and managing difficult situations.
