Salary: S01 £34,434 - £36,363 pro rata (£29,964 - £31,642 actual per year)

Your leadership will help students flourish both academically and emotionally, fostering a culture rooted in care, resilience, and success.
The Head Of Year Should
* Have bags of energy and enthusiasm, along with the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, diverse school environment.
* Promote a positive, optimistic attitude to learning and achievement and act as a role model.
* Provide support to individual, and groups of students, promoting pupil engagement.
* Deal with safeguarding issues and act as designated safeguarding lead.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships working with students, staff, parents and other stakeholders.
* Implement school systems and processes in relation to attendance, behaviour and other key policies.
* Develop a mentoring relationship with students needing particular support, aimed at achieving the objectives in their individual action plans.
* Attend review meetings (including safeguarding meetings, as appropriate).
* Undertake any other jobs commensurate to the role.
