The Role

As a Deputy Manager, you will inspire your team to deliver the Castore customer and brand vision. Your responsibilities include supporting the team in providing excellent service and sales, ensuring the customer remains at the center of all activities. You will empower employees with the necessary information, focus on growing sales, developing a service-oriented team, and supporting store operations both front and back of house.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Store Manager in:

* Guiding and coaching the team to adopt a "customer first always" approach.
* Ensuring the team is operationally prepared to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maximize sales.
* Providing training to meet service expectations and managing performance with regular feedback.
* Reacting to a dynamic retail environment by driving service in the moment and responding to customer needs.

Driving results:

* Prioritizing service as the key KPI and exploiting all opportunities to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Ensuring operational readiness of the team to maximize sales.
* Collaborating with the team to manage stock flow, returns, and achieving 'All Sizes Out' targets.
* Providing ongoing training and performance management.

Operational

* Adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Maintaining updated team documentation and HR records.
* Managing administrative tasks including cash handling and delivery paperwork.
* Ensuring health and safety policies are followed and issues escalated appropriately.

Commercial

* Working towards sales and KPI targets with a focus on service.
* Building a confident, customer-focused team with clear objectives.
* Staying informed about market trends and competitors to support business decisions.
* Identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve the business.

Future Focus

* Seeking opportunities for improvement and encouraging innovation within the team.
* Supporting multi-channel development and understanding its commercial impact.

Skills & Qualities

* Experience in supervisory or management roles in customer-facing environments preferred.
* Ability to thrive in a sales-driven setting.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Problem-solving initiative.
* Strong decision-making and interpersonal skills.
* Adaptability, time management, and teamwork skills.
* Passion for the brand.
