You will provide a consistent high-quality service in all areas allocated to you within the care home environment to ensure that the environment meets the requirements of the service specification and expectations of clients and staff alike.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Carrying out tasks related to catering, cleaning, and laundry services;
2. Maintaining clients’ dignity and confidentiality at all times;
3. Working within all areas of the care home environment and Facilities Management Soft Services as instructed by the Assistant Facilities Housekeeper or other appropriate manager;
4. Ensuring all areas used by clients and care staff are maintained to the required standard on a consistent and timely basis.
Essential requirements:
* Experience in catering, cleaning, and laundry services;
* High awareness of current hygiene practices;
* Organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable qualifications:
* SVQ (or equivalent) in Catering;
* SVQ (or equivalent) in Cleaning;
* Elementary food hygiene certificate.
Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding, for 12 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever is earlier.
