RESP Implementation Lead Location: Warwick (Hybrid) Contract Type: Inside IR35 Rate: Competitive Contact: finlay.sheard@forsythbarnes.com About the Role We’re seeking a RESP Implementation Lead to join the Regional Energy Strategic Planning (RESP) Programme — a pioneering initiative developing whole-energy strategic plans across 11 regions in Great Britain. This role sits at the heart of a major energy transformation, supporting the transition from design into full implementation. You’ll be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering implementation plans across RESP, ensuring organisational readiness, alignment, and successful change delivery across regional teams. Key Responsibilities Implementation Planning: Develop and coordinate detailed implementation plans aligned with programme milestones and objectives. People-Centric Change: Focus on engaging and supporting people through change, ensuring communication, understanding, and adoption. Operating Model Development: Support the design and refinement of the operating model, including organisational structures and governance. Workshop Facilitation: Design and lead workshops to co-create solutions, capture stakeholder input, and drive collaboration. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across central and regional teams to ensure alignment, insight sharing, and progress tracking. Readiness & Pilots: Lead readiness assessments, pilots, and trials to validate design decisions before wider rollout. Change Documentation: Produce key artefacts including process maps, training plans, readiness criteria, and implementation frameworks. Training & Capability: Develop and coordinate training plans to embed capability and support successful adoption. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to refine implementation processes and approaches for efficiency and effectiveness. About You You’re an experienced implementation or transformation lead who understands how to turn strategy into delivery. You’re comfortable working in complex, cross-functional environments and have a passion for enabling people through change. Essential Experience & Skills: Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation or operating model implementation programmes. Strong facilitation skills — able to design and lead workshops that align and engage stakeholders. Experience in organisational implementation, including defining structures, roles, and processes. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to translate business goals into practical delivery plans. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
