AP/AR SPECIALIST - UP TO £250/day (via umbrella) - WATERLOO - HYBRID
Robert Half are thrilled to be working with a client who are looking for an AP/AR Specialist to join their finance team on a full-time, temporary basis with the potential of going permanent. They're looking for a proactive and hands-on AP/AR Specialist to take ownership of their Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This is a key role within their finance team, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
Things to know:
1. Hybrid working pattern - 3 days onsite, 2 days working from home
2. Office is a short walk from Waterloo station
3. Offering up to £250/day (via umbrella)
4. ASAP start date - candidates must be available to start from w/c 17th November
5. 3 month assignment - potential to go permanent for the right candidate
Responsibilities:
6. Oversee and manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
7. Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
8. Produce and maintain cashflow forecasts, providing clear visibility of upcoming commitments and inflows.
9. Monitor outstanding debts and supplier payments, resolving queries promptly.
10. Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
11. Work closely with the Finance Director to drive continuous improvement and efficiency within AP/AR processes.
Requirements:
12. Strong background in AP and AR within a busy finance function.
13. Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is essential.
14. Proven experience managing payment runs and cashflow forecasting.
15. Excellent attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude.
16. Confident working independently and as part of a collaborative finance team.
17. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
