Process Engineer
Here within the @one Alliance, we are a collaborative organization comprising eight partner companies (Anglian Water, Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska, and SWECO) and our extended supply chain. We deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment program.
We are preparing for our most ambitious Asset Management Period yet, AMP8, which will involve delivering a larger program of work than ever before. This includes new project delivery focusing on nature-based solutions such as wetlands and urban drainage schemes.

With a portfolio of exciting projects planned for AMP8 to ensure water supply across the region, our success depends on effective work management and exceeding customer expectations. To strengthen our engineering capabilities, we are seeking several talented Process Engineers to join us in the coming months.
What will you be doing as our Process Engineer?
As a Process Engineer in our Water Non-Infrastructure team, you will collaborate with the project design team to develop process solutions based on principles of optimized plant performance, standard designs, and @one engineering standards.
Key responsibilities:
* Design water treatment plants and water systems to meet customer, environmental, and efficiency goals.
* Produce technical deliverables including schedules, data sheets, and calculations (hydraulic, pump, mass balance, RICS, etc.).
* Create specifications for engineering subcontracts.
* Work with supply chain partners and analyze technical bids.
* Oversee process calculations, hydraulics, unit processes, pump and capacity calculations, and technical bid analysis.
* Communicate effectively across relevant levels to ensure technical excellence.
* Identify and escalate issues impacting time, cost, or quality.
* Support health & safety standards, ensuring safe designs compliant with CDM regulations.
* Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless interface and share best practices.
Skills, experience, and behaviors:
You should have a degree in water process science or engineering, with experience in process engineering within water treatment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with excellent IT skills.
