We’re looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Special Needs Assistant to join supportive and welcoming specialist SEN schools in Portsmouth. You will be working with Primary and Secondary aged students who have aried moderate to complex learning and physical needs.
What you'll be doing:
✅ Providing tailored, hands-on support to pupils with a range of additional needs
✅ Assisting the class teacher in creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating environment
✅ Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning, development, and emotional wellbeing
✅ Collaborating with a skilled and passionate staff team to ensure every child thrives
✅ Helping with daily routines, classroom management, and behaviour support
