Shop Manager – Oxfam GB
Commercially aware and continually seeking new business opportunities, shop managers motivate their teams, create a safe and energised work environment, maintain high standards, drive results, and are accountable for their business.
They are often the only paid staff, comfortable taking responsibility within a volunteer‑driven model, enjoy working with people, delegate effectively, and attract new supporters.
Responsibilities
* Mobilise and support volunteers in running the shop in the manager’s absence.
* Lead, develop and retain a high‑performing team.
* Ensure commercial outcomes and meet retail targets.
* Manage time and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Maintain retail processes, merchandising and safety standards.
* Review basic financial reports and make decisions to support profitability.

Working Hours
Weekend working is required, including Sundays.
