This role can be based from either our Stockport, Leicester, or Aberdeen site, where we operate a hybrid working model of 4 days on-site and 1 day working from home.
Responsibilities
1. Customer Inquiry Analysis & Proposal Development: Carefully analyse customer inquiries to understand their specific needs. Develop precise and thoughtful proposals that align with those requirements, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
2. Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Field Sales and Account Management to streamline sales strategies and customer engagements. Your role in these partnerships will be crucial for delivering cohesive and effective solutions.
3. Order Accuracy & Management: Focus on meticulous management of proposals and orders, ensuring every detail is correct and every process is followed to maintain the integrity and reliability of our sales operations.
4. Relationship Support: Support the development of customer relationships through thoughtful communication and reliable follow-ups. Your contributions will help build a foundation of trust and respect with our clients.
Who You Are
You keep in touch with customers, build relationships, prepare impactful communication content, and create plans for various audiences. You are proactive in making new connections, consulting diverse resources, asking questions, and using problem-solving tools.
Minimum Requirements
1. Experience with CRM & Order Management Systems (e.g., Oracle) or willingness to learn.
2. Product knowledge and technical interest, with training provided.
3. Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
4. Customer-centric approach, prioritizing customer needs and experiences.
5. Attention to detail in managing proposals and orders.
6. Team-oriented mindset, contributing to collective goals.
7. Commitment to personal and professional growth.
Preferred Skills
* Understanding of Control Valves or process control systems, with the ability to incorporate this knowledge into customer proposals.
