Job Description:
Shared Care Services Ltd is an established domiciliary care company providing person-centered care to children and young adults with disabilities in East London since 2004.
We seek a dynamic, strong operational leader with proven care service management experience.
Our opportunity is for an experienced registered manager to oversee a domiciliary care service specializing in caring for children and young adults with disabilities and complex medical needs.
* Grow the business by taking on new packages and expanding hours of service delivery.
* Manage recruitment, induction, and training of the office team, including coordinators, supervisors, support staff, and care assistants. Identify ongoing training needs and ensure staff are current with best practices.
* Ensure sufficient qualified staff are allocated appropriately to meet service needs at all times.
* Implement company policies on managing absence, disciplinary, capability, and grievance issues.
* Provide guidance, supervision, and appraisals to staff to ensure effective and safe role execution.
* Handle emergency on-call issues effectively, including covering calls when staff are absent or sick.
* Promote the business by attending external meetings and representing the service positively.
* Contribute to the growth and development of the business.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Interact with CQC to ensure smooth business operation.
* Deliver compliant care to partner relationships.
* Manage daily business operations.
* Be an existing registered manager with the CQC with an excellent track record.
* Act as the main contact with Local Authorities, GPs, healthcare professionals, and families.
* Ensure the domiciliary care service meets CQC requirements and local authority contract compliance.
* Recruit and retain staff effectively.
* Lead, support, and motivate staff to achieve common objectives.
* Experience in growing a domiciliary branch.
* Possess strong leadership skills.
* Hold a full driving license, as travel is required.
