Job Description This is a 17.5 hour per week role and the days of work are 2 days one week and 3 days the following week. The days of work are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The post is part of the Committee Services team within the Democratic Services section. It is primarily based in the Municipal Buildings, Dumbarton with a requirement to also work from Clydebank Town Hall as and when required. The post-holder will be responsible for the provision of a full Committee Service to a number of Committees and Boards and occasionally to full Council if required. You must have excellent written and oral communication skills and proven organisational ability. You must be able to organise your own workload and be confident in dealing with Elected Members and Senior Officers of the Council as well as being proactive with a flexible approach to workload, there will be occasional evening work required. Experience of hosting virtual meetings via Zoom and MS Teams is essential. Previous experience of committee administration duties within a local government environment would be advantageous.
