We are closed on Bank holiday Mondays and Christmas day.
Summary
We are seeking a talented Chef to join our kitchen team at Anchor Inn. In this role, you will work alongside our kitchen team to create dishes that reflect our commitment to exciting seasonal menus. You will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding food and service.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the seasonal menu and specials.
* Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, encouraging a collaborative team environment.
* Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef in a fresh food restaurant or pub setting.
* Strong culinary skills with a focus on high-quality food.
* Excellent team management abilities and leadership skills.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
* Passion for cooking with locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce.

2.5 days off per week. Working a 4.5 day week. Bank holidays Mondays off, plus Christmas Day closed. Regular weekend hours are required.
Salary will be dependant on experience. The higher advertised salary applies to applicants with Head Chef experience, or an experienced Senior Sous Chef ready to take the next step. The lower scale is for someone of competent Sous Chef level who may require support from the management team with some elements e.g. Kitchen Management.
