Hours: 27 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 2:00–6:00 PM in-club, Friday 11:40-6:00 + 5 flexible admin hours, remote after training). Full Year Role
Pay: £ £14.40 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Stockbridge after school club. This role is for a maternity cover but could be extended based on performance. About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of our after-school club, ensuring a fun, safe, and engaging environment for primary-aged children. You'll work closely with the Club Manager and wider team to create a space where kids love to be.
Your Responsibilities:
* Create & Lead Activities – Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
* Ensure a Safe & Fun Environment – Make sure every child feels valued, included, and supported.
* Support the Team – Help supervise and mentor staff, ensuring high-quality interactions.
* Communicate with Families – Build strong relationships with children and parents.
* Handle Admin Tasks – Keep records, assist with care plans, and help maintain compliance.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Holds a childcare qualification (SVQ3, HNC/HND) or equivalent
Has worked with children in an after-school club, nursery, school, or similar setting for at least 2years
Is enthusiastic, caring, and fun – someone who can engage with children and create a positive atmosphere.
Is organised and proactive, able to balance hands-on childcare with admin tasks.
Enjoys working in a team but can also step up and take the lead when needed.
