Our Client, Xstrahl, has manufacturing facilities in the UK and USA and operates globally through its international network of distributors. Xstrahl is a leading designer and manufacturer of Superficial Orthovoltage Medical X-ray Systems used in the treatment of cancers and dermatological disorders, as well as a pioneer in the development of advanced X-ray systems for pre-clinical radiation biology research.
Xstrahl is looking to hire a Production Controller within the Production department.
The Production Controller at Xstrahl will play a vital role in transforming lives through advanced medical technology. Reporting to the Global Product Realization Manager, the role involves ensuring seamless operation of the production team to deliver innovative Superficial Orthovoltage Medical X-ray Systems that combat cancer and dermatological disorders. Key Responsibilities:
1. Work within procedures outlined in the Company’s Quality Management System.
2. Assist in controlling production activities to meet business and financial objectives.
3. Support the Global Product Realization Manager in managing production costs while maintaining quality standards.
4. Plan and communicate production requirements to the Production Manager.
5. Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations.
6. Monitor production processes and report issues or delays to the Global Product Realization Manager.
7. Create and complete production orders and picklists within the SAP MRP system.
8. Regularly update the Global Product Realization Manager/Production Manager on production status.
9. Oversee and assist the Warehouse Controller in daily duties and quarterly stock takes.
10. Perform other reasonable tasks as required by the Company.
11. Compile device history record files.
Required Skills and Education:
1. Experience working within the medical devices field.
2. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
3. Good IT skills; knowledge of SAP and Excel preferred but not essential.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
7. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
Annual Salary: Starting from £30,000 per annum.
