Your main day to day responsibilities will be:
* Design and document Power Platform infrastructure, producing clear, standards-aligned designs that meet functional and non‑functional requirements and consider design trade‑offs. (DESN)
* Plan and carry out testing for Power Platform environments and integrations, including manual and automated tests, and report outcomes, risks, and defects. (HSIN)
* Install, configure, and decommission Power Platform infrastructure components, following standard procedures and ensuring accurate documentation and handover. (ITOP)
* Operate and maintain Power Platform infrastructure services, including environment provisioning, monitoring, maintenance, backup and restore, and automation of routine tasks. (USUP)
* Manage infrastructure incidents, correctly logging, diagnosing, and resolving or escalating issues in line with agreed procedures. (TEST)
* Facilitate technical discussions and workshops, enabling teams and stakeholders to resolve complex infrastructure and operational issues and reach shared decisions.(OFCL)

We are keen for Engineers to continue learning new technologies, we have a large range in the Home Office including:
* Low code: Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerFX, Power BI, Dynamics
UK residency and security requirements
Please note that this role requires Security Check (SC) clearance, which would normally need 5 years’ UK residency in the past 5 years.
However, in exceptional circumstances security clearance applications for candidates who have been present in the UK for at least 3 of the last 5 years may be considered. Failure to meet this residency requirement will result in your security clearance application being rejected.
