Salary: £37,000 – £38,000 (£45,000+ with overtime) + Twice Yearly Bonus

a leading plant and tool hire company, who are expanding their Bristol depot. They are seeking a skilled Workshop Fitter to join the team, working on a broad range of equipment and playing a key role in the depot’s growth.
The Role
Servicing, fault-finding, and repairing a wide range of equipment including generators, compressors, hand tools, and 2-stroke petrol/diesel-powered kit
Workshop-based role, Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:00 (45 hours per week including break)
Ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard of safety and reliability
Working closely with a small team, supporting the depot’s expansion plans
The Candidate
Previous experience working on generators, compressors, and small plant/tools is highly desirable
Strong mechanical background with knowledge of both petrol and diesel equipment
Ability to work independently in a small team environment
Reliable, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of service
The Benefits
Salary: £37,000 – £38,000 (£45,000+ with overtime)
Overtime: 1.5x after 45 hours and double time at weekends
Leave: 27 days annual leave + all bank holidays + your birthday off + option to buy 5 extra days
Bonuses: Paid twice yearly (May & November)
