genU is looking for a confident and experienced Rostering Officer to work as part of a team, coordinating & scheduling our front-line support workers who play an integral part in enriching the lives our clients.

What you’ll do
As a Rostering Officer you’ll:
1. Manage training bookings,
2. Manage and approve timesheets ensuring accuracy and data quality
3. Work with front line leaders to resolve areas of concerns or poor staff response to rostering needs
4. Undertake rostering and administration tasks efficiently and liaise with staff, Team Leaders and Team Manager regarding rosters
5. Liaising with Payroll to respond to staff enquiries regarding pay issues promptly
What you’ll bring
6. A passion for providing service and assistance in the community;
7. Prior experience in workforce deployment, scheduling and coordination of large teams desirable;
8. Ability to work to strict deadlines and multitask;
9. Well-developed conflict resolution skills and strong administration and communication skills;
10. An understanding of and experience with the Disability or Aged Care Service sector is highly advantageous but not essential.
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
