District Nurse / Caseload Manager (Band 6)
Applicants: This position is open for qualified nurses in Brentwood and Billericay. NELFT seeks an enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 6 District Nurse/Caseload Manager to join our integrated community team.
Working hours are 0700 – 1900 hrs, including regular weekends on a rota basis.
The post holder will support their team, department and organisation in achieving the Trust's values in daily work. They will supervise pre-registered students, lead and manage a Community Nursing Team geographically aligned to GP practices, and be responsible for a caseload ensuring a high standard of care to patients and their families in the community.
The post holder will work as part of the integrated care team, liaising with GPs, other professionals, statutory and voluntary agencies, and providing leadership to the community nursing team without direct supervision.
New starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training and equipment allocation at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
Probationary period applies; internal candidates may be exempt.
High Cost Area Supplement: 5% of basic salary (minimum £1,258, maximum £2,122 per annum pro rata).
