This role is critical in ensuring alignment, visibility, and coordination across complex delivery environments, enabling successful milestone-driven outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead integrated planning activities across multiple programmes within a complex delivery landscapeDesign and implement standardised planning frameworks, establishing consistent approaches from the ground upFacilitate large-scale cross-programme planning events, such as PI planning, big room planning, or equivalent forumsOversee programme planning cycles, ensuring alignment with key milestones and effective critical path managementIdentify, map, and actively manage cross-programme dependencies, driving timely resolution of risks and conflictsOperate effectively across organisational boundaries, ensuring collaboration and holding senior stakeholders accountable for planning commitmentsEmbed sustainable planning disciplines and governance that continue to deliver value beyond initial implementationSupport the integration of both agile and traditional plan-driven delivery methodologies where appropriateSkills and ExperienceSignificant experience leading integrated planning across complex, multi-programme environmentsProven track record in designing and implementing planning frameworks from inceptionStrong understanding of planning cycles, dependency management, and milestone-driven deliveryExperience facilitating large-scale planning events involving diverse stakeholder groupsDemonstrated ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across organisational silosComfortable working within both agile and traditional delivery methodologiesExperience in defence, government, or similarly regulated environments is highly desirablePersonal AttributesStrong leadership and facilitation skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management capabilitiesHighly organised with strong attention to detailProactive, resilient, and solution-oriented mindsetOutcome The Integrated Planning Lead will play a pivotal role in driving coherence, transparency, and delivery confidence across programmes, ensuring planning practices are not only implemented effectively but sustained over the long term.Reasonable Adjustments:Respect and equality are core values to us.
