Daily Rate: £89.38 per day
Start Date: February 2026
Contract Type: Through Teaching Personnel
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8:30am – 3:30pm), term time only
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in St Mellons, Cardiff, to recruit a hard-working and committed Teaching Assistant to join their team from February.
The school offers a supportive and inclusive environment, with friendly, enthusiastic learners who are developing a strong growth mindset. Staff work closely together as a community to provide a high-quality educational experience and ensure pupils feel safe, supported, and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing, and confident working collaboratively within a school setting.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (preferred)
* A caring, reliable, and proactive approach
* Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration, or willingness to register
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
