Restaurant Manager – Ekstedt at The Yard
As Restaurant Manager, you will lead the front‑of‑house operation of Ekstedt at The Yard, working in close partnership with the Head Sommelier and Executive Chef. Together, you will deliver a seamless, refined, and highly personalized dining experience aligned with Michelin‑star aspiration and Forbes 5‑Star standards.
This role is hands‑on, guest‑focused, and leadership‑driven, combining service excellence, team development, and commercial awareness.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Own and deliver the Ekstedt at The Yard restaurant concept, ensuring consistency with its culinary vision and luxury positioning.
* Lead the dining room operation, welcoming and engaging guests while anticipating preferences and managing service recovery with professionalism and discretion.
* Partner closely with the Head Sommelier to jointly lead service standards, team performance, and guest satisfaction, providing a united leadership presence on the floor.
* Work in close coordination with the Head Chef and culinary brigade to integrate chef‑led tableside presentations seamlessly into the service flow.
* Oversee reservations, table allocation, and guest flow to maximize service efficiency, experience quality, and revenue.
* Recruit, train, coach, and inspire the front‑of‑house team, fostering a culture of continuous development, storytelling, and confident upselling.
* Monitor and elevate service standards using Michelin and Forbes criteria, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and labor regulations.
* Contribute to the restaurant’s commercial success through upselling initiatives, guest recognition, and repeat‑visit strategies.

You are a confident and engaging hospitality leader with a strong presence on the restaurant floor and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences at the highest level.
* Proven experience leading front‑of‑house operations within a high‑end restaurant environment.
* A strong understanding of refined service standards, guest engagement, and personalized hospitality.
* Experience working collaboratively with culinary and beverage leaders to deliver a coordinated service journey.
* The ability to inspire, develop, and retain high‑performing teams through coaching and example.
* Commercial awareness, with experience managing rotas, service flow, and revenue performance.
* Confidence in representing the restaurant as a brand ambassador with VIP guests, partners, and local influencers.
