We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer to join a leading provider of connectivity for live events, sports, and media production.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage local access procurement for connectivity solutions, ensuring optimal capacity for live events and 24/7 broadcast feeds.
2. Collaborate with network service providers to design and implement reliable, high-performance connectivity solutions.
3. Advise on routing strategies to maximize network diversity and minimize jitter, ensuring seamless broadcast delivery.
4. Support other sales engineers by providing technical expertise and negotiating with telecom providers for optimal solutions.
5. Contribute to the design and implementation of connectivity solutions tailored to broadcast client needs.
What We’re Looking For:
* Strong network engineering skills, with experience in video transport and broadcast environments.
* Deep understanding of connectivity solutions, including bandwidth requirements, network routing, and video compression technologies.
* Familiarity with broadcast-specific protocols such as SRT, RIST, and SMPTE 2110.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving in fast-paced live production environments.
Candidates must be based in the UK, with the company open to remote work within the UK and travel to the London office twice a month.
