CNC Setter / Operator
Tipton Days Shift £15 – £17 per hour Permanent
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a well-established and growing engineering company based in Tipton. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for a stable, long-term role on a day shift.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all parts meet required quality standards and tolerances Read and interpret engineering/technical drawings Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision components Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance Work collaboratively with the production team to improve efficiency and workflow Maintain a safe and organised working environment
Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator Experience with Siemens, XYZ, or Fanuc controls (preferred) Strong understanding of CNC machinery, tooling, and setups Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
