We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Service Reception Manager for their busy dealership located in Maidstone. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated automotive professional to lead a customer-focused service reception team and deliver outstanding service standards.

Monday to Friday working hours (08:00 – 18:00)
Dynamic, customer-centric working environmentDuties:

Lead, motivate, and develop the Service Reception Manager team to ensure excellent customer service delivery
Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including appointment scheduling and customer check-ins
Manage the customer journey from arrival to vehicle handover, ensuring a seamless experience
Act as the primary contact for resolving customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction metrics, including NPS and manufacturer scores
Support Service Advisors in achieving performance targets such as upselling and customer retention
Coordinate with workshop and parts departments to facilitate smooth service delivery
Ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards as a Service Reception Manager
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operational efficiencyRequirements of the Service Reception Manager:

Proven experience in service reception management or a customer-facing leadership position within the automotive trade
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle customer complaints with professionalism and tact
Drive to improve processes and develop team members
Knowledge of industry KPIs, including customer satisfaction scores and upselling targets
