Contamac manufacture polymers for contact and intraocular lenses (used in cataract surgery),and are based in Saffron Walden.
We are recruiting for a Packaging & Despatch Assistant to work as part of a small team in our Packing & Despatch Department at Shire Hill, Saffron Walden. Whilst we value your experience, what is more important to us is your personality, drive, adaptability and independence.

Maximum of 45-minute commute from Saffron Walden.
Job Title: Packaging & Despatch Assistant
Duration: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm – 37.5hrs per week
Salary: £23,850.00
Reports to: Operations Manager
Knowledge and experience
Essential
* Ability to work with critical attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Outlook)
* Able to work autonomously or as part of a team
* Reliability is essential
Job Duties:
· Packing materials and accessories for orders and stock, producing labels for products.
* Ensure a high standard is maintained within the department.
* Post to be dispatched daily.
