Tardis Environmental UK Ltd are a well-established portable toilet and tanker hire business that operate a large fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles across various locations situated throughout the UK. We hire temporary waste and water solutions from 1000ltr waste and water storage tanks up to 30,000ltr storage tanks. Currently members of FORS and hold Gold accreditation.

We are currently looking to recruit a General Administration Assistant based at our Telford Depot.

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm

Salary: £28,000 per annum


Purpose

The general administration assistant will ensure all aspects of the departments run smoothly. They will assist with ensuring all reports and actions are updated and received in a timely manner. They will assist other members of the Tardis Management team to ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to in line with Tardis standards and current legislation.


Key Duties

* Assist in all aspects of the role, including but not limited to, creating reports, checking trackers, requesting information for management, updating reports.
* Update and maintain accurate records for new starters, leavers and any other general admin functions.
* Obtain and document all employee details on Tensor as required for full visibility across the business.
* Deal with any queries as they arise and ensure action is taken to resolve.
* Assist in daily administration with the department, ensure all paperwork is updated and filed.
* Liaise with line manager to ensure any messages or emails are answered in a quick and efficient way.
* Attend meetings and take minutes, detailing to all with timeframes for actions.
* Liaise with all areas of the business as and when required.
* Check all paperwork for accuracy and completion.
* Carry out reference checks on all suitable applicants and place on file.
* Liaise with FSB or other governing bodies for any specialist support.
* Assist with the tracking of all disciplinarys and investigations in line with company requirements.
* Assist with the monitoring and feedback on all sickness and absences ensuring company policy is adhered to and action taken where necessary.

Please note: You may be asked to carry out additional duties as and when required; you may also be required to carry out different roles if required for example due to staff shortage, holidays and sickness.
