Job Description
What you’ll do
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Experience in complex care is desirable, but is not essential as we provide full nurse-led training. However it is extremely advantageous if you have experience in the following:

8. Ventilation Support
9. Seizure Management
10. PEG Feeding
11. Suctioning
12. Catheter Care
13. Bowel Management
14. Administrating Medication
15. Challenging Behaviours
