Salary:£27,254 - £33,143 pro rata per annum
We’re looking for a highly organised Planning Legal Support Officer to join our shared Planning Legal service on a part‑time, fixed‑term basis.
Supporting the Senior Planning Lawyer, you’ll play a key role in keeping planning legal processes running smoothly – managing emails and case files, preparing documents for signing and sealing, and acting as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
* Managing inboxes, case records and key deadlines
* Preparing and coordinating legal documents for signing and sealing
* Supporting the production and distribution of legal documentation
* Liaising with Planning officers, external solicitors and developers
* Helping ensure documents and processes are accurate and compliant
What we’re looking for
* Strong administrative and organisational experience
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Confidence managing multiple tasks and deadlines
* Professional and discreet approach to handling information
* Proficient in Microsoft 365
Experience in a legal, planning or local government setting is desirable but not essential.
