Client requires an experienced alarms specialist to improve alarms management across high-hazard laboratory facilities. The role involves implementing the client’s alarms policy, producing detailed working documents for each facility, and upskilling staff to ensure lab‑wide compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver a comprehensive alarms implementation plan.
* Upskill personnel to support effective alarms management.
* Configure, optimise, and ensure integrity of industrial alarm systems (Trend, Vista, Schneider, EcoStruxure, Saulter).
* Develop clear working documents for operators tailored to each facility.
* Work closely with client management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Proven alarm systems expertise and hands‑on experience.
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Policy or process implementation experience.
* Knowledge of EEMUA 191, DSEAR, and HS&EP desirable.
* Highly proactive and self‑motivated.
