Mental Health Support Worker - 37.5 hrs per week
Shifts will be either early or late: 7.45am, 8am, 9am start; 2.45pm, 9pm, or 10pm finish.
Work every other weekend, including bank holidays.
Experience supporting individuals with Mental Health and Learning Disabilities is required.

The Role:
Provide practical and emotional care to enable individuals to lead as independent a life as possible. Flexibility required for shifts including bank holidays, weekends, and sleep-ins.

Main duties and responsibilities:
* Supervise daily care delivery to meet service users' needs and facilitate participation in household and leisure activities.
* Ensure the safety and welfare of service users and staff.
* Manage case coordination and support plan reviews to align with individual needs.
* Participate in recruitment and staff development activities.
* Conduct staff supervisions and appraisals.
* Act as a staff skills coach and facilitate team training.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and policies.
* Maintain accurate records and reports.
Personal Characteristics:
* Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to obtain one.
* Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, or mental health issues.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Confidence to work independently or in a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Passion for working with vulnerable adults.
* Commitment to safeguarding standards.
