Private Chauffeur / Estate Assistant Salary: £28,000 per annum Full-Time | Rolling 5-Day Week | Rent-Free Accommodation Provided We are seeking a smart, professional and highly flexible individual to join a private household in a varied and trusted role as Chauffeur and Estate Assistant. This is a full-time position offering long-term stability, diverse responsibilities, and accommodation for the right candidate. The Role This position combines driving duties with general estate support. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient transport for the employer and family members, alongside assisting with the smooth running of vehicles and the wider property. Principal Duties * Driving the employer and family members as directed (primarily to and from London) * Ensuring all vehicles comply with UK legal requirements (road fund licence, MOT, permits, servicing and maintenance – vehicles are professionally maintained) * Keeping vehicles clean, well-presented and ready for use at all times * Carrying firearms to and from organised shoots as directed (a shotgun licence will need to be obtained) * Handling petty cash and maintaining accurate records * Performing minor valet duties for the employer * Assisting house staff and gardener during busy periods * Spending one day per week supporting garden maintenance, including mowing long and short grass * Undertaking additional miscellaneous duties as required Candidate Requirements * Experienced driver with a full, clean UK driving licence * Smart, well-presented and discreet * Flexible and adaptable in approach to duties and working hours * Trustworthy and capable of handling responsibility * Non-smoker preferred * Willingness to apply for a shotgun licence What’s Offered * £28,000 annual salary * Full-time employment (rolling 5-day week) * Rent-free accommodation provided (utility bills payable by occupant) * Varied and engaging role within a private household setting This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and adaptable individual seeking a long-term role in a private household environment
