We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead to oversee General Adult Mental Health services across a diverse geographical area, including both urban and remote/rural communities. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and in driving service development and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage a multidisciplinary mental health team, ensuring effective service delivery across varied settings.
2. Support staff through supervision, development, and performance management.
3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service integration and continuity of care.
4. Drive service improvement initiatives aligned with NHS Highland strategic priorities.
5. Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safeguarding, and risk management protocols.
Essential Criteria
6. Degree-level qualification in Mental Health or equivalent professional registration.
7. Proven experience in staff management within a mental health setting.
8. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
9. Demonstrated ability in service development and quality improvement.
10. Understanding of the challenges and opportunities in delivering care in remote and rural areas.
Desirable Criteria
11. Experience working across both community and inpatient mental health services.
12. Knowledge of NHS Highland systems and local health and social care networks.
13. Training in trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented practice, or similar frameworks.
