* Contribute to the design and testing of tax controls and risk mitigation strategies.
Technology & Process Improvement
* Champion the use of technology, automation, and AI to streamline tax processes.
* Collaborate with finance and change teams to align tax operations with broader transformation goals.
* Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and enhance data integrity.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: ACA or CTA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
* Experience: Background in either practice or industry. Exposure to financial services or insurance is a plus, but not essential.
* Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of UK VAT and IPT; understanding of partial exemption and global indirect tax regimes.
* Data Savvy: Comfortable working with imperfect data and legacy systems; able to identify gaps and drive improvements.
* Mindset: Commercially aware, proactive, and solutions focused. A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust across functions.
* Tech Curious: Interest in leveraging new technologies (e.g., GenAI) to improve outcomes.
Additional Info:
* Occasional international travel may be required for oversight and collaboration with regional teams.
* Interviews are expected to begin in early June and will follow a two-stage process.
