The Role
As a Majestic Trainee Manager, you will support the Store Manager in driving sales and managing daily store operations. You will deliver exceptional customer experiences, optimize KPI performance, and support team development to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support your Store Manager in daily operations and performance, taking responsibility in their absence.
* Maximize sales opportunities and improve KPI performance through strategic planning.
* Provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty and repeat business.
* Offer a VIP concierge service, engaging proactively with customers about products and tastings.
* Promote our product story through tasting events and knowledgeable selling.
* Assist in recruiting, managing, and developing the team, including supporting team members' product knowledge and WSET qualifications.
* Maintain the store's appearance and ensure compliance with safety and legal standards.
* Identify operational improvements and implement them effectively.
* Support communication of store, regional, and business updates.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
* Experience in a target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
* Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
* Understanding of retail KPIs and improvement strategies.
* Strong problem-solving skills under pressure.
* Self-motivated, capable of working independently and in teams.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* WSET Level 2 qualification is desirable; willingness to progress to Level 3.
* Full UK/EU/EEA driving license for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
