What You'll Do
* Lead the developer experience team in delivering a cutting-edge internal developer platform
* Create and maintain a strong control environment, then go the extra distance to ensure that the developer experience remains slick and productive
* Break down silos and foster a culture of cross-team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
* Ensure the implementation of robust security measures for information systems
* Provide guidance and mentorship to empower team members
* Drive recruitment efforts to attract and identify top talent and build high-performing, multi-skilled teams
* Seek input and collaborate closely with internal engineering teams to ensure platform enhancements equate to developer experience enhancements
Your Story
* You are one of a rare breed who combine agile product development skills with cloud engineering and service management experience, enabling you to build strong partnerships with the developers your platform empowers.
* Seasoned professional with extensive experience building platforms to support a world-class developer experience.
* Experienced in building and guiding multi-skilled teams with a “Platform as Product” mindset
* Proficient in coaching and mentoring software & platform engineers
* Well-versed in agile development methodologies, including eXtreme Programming, and working in partnership with product development teams.
* Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS
* Versatility in various programming languages and Infrastructure as Code tools
* Excellent grasp of cloud-native architecture, technologies and practices
