What You’ll Do
* Establish, build, and maintain relationships with suppliers and shareholders to ensure strong business partnerships.
* Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal cost prices, lead times, and payment terms.
* Produce and analyze reports to inform decision-making.
* Manage pricing strategies across categories to maintain competitiveness without compromising profitability.
* Maximize product performance by understanding your range, competitors, and the wider retail market.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize sales, profit, and stock management.
* Build cross-departmental relationships and communicate effectively with managers and directors.
* Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement by reviewing customer feedback and refund reports.
* Visit suppliers in the Far East to strengthen relationships, observe manufacturing processes, and improve collaboration.
What You'll Bring
* Experience in a similar role (including internships or work experience).
* Enthusiasm for learning and developing within our company.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with proficiency in advanced Excel and confidence in other Microsoft Office programs.
* Ability to extract and analyze data to develop a comprehensive understanding of business systems.
* Proactive and reactive work approach in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
* Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
