Job Overview
AACS Limited is seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across a range of commercial and residential sites.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise within mechanical services and construction, delivering reliable and compliant climate control solutions for our clients. You will be expected to take a proactive approach to your work, demonstrate strong organisational skills, and operate effectively both independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
* Install new HVAC systems in line with schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications
* Carry out routine servicing, planned maintenance, and fault diagnosis on existing equipment
* Repair and replace faulty components in air conditioning and associated mechanical systems
* Assist with system upgrades, modifications, and improvements as required
* Ensure all works comply with relevant health & safety legislation, industry standards, and building regulations
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and service documentation
Experience & Skills Required
* Proven experience in HVAC installation, servicing, and/or repair
* Strong mechanical knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
* Confident reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and system diagnostics
* Experience working within construction, building services, or maintenance environments
* Understanding of construction processes relevant to HVAC installations
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while strictly following safety protocols
* Leadership or mentoring experience supporting junior engineers or apprentices (desirable but not essential)
