This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Money Advisor (Debt Advice Caseworker), based in Liverpool with some flexibility for remote work. In this role, you will provide confidential advice and support to clients regarding debt management and financial planning. Day‑to‑day tasks include assessing clients’ financial situations, developing and implementing tailored debt solutions, liaising with creditors, and delivering financial capability training. You will ensure clients are informed about welfare benefits they are entitled to and provide guidance to improve financial sustainability.
Qualifications
* At least 1 year’s experience in delivering money advice.
* Relevant accreditation in debt counselling, money advice or a related discipline.
* Problem‑solving, active listening, and assessment skills to create tailored financial solutions.
* Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience in case‑work management, working with clients, and handling sensitive information confidentially.
* Proficiency in basic administrative tasks, IT systems, and maintaining accurate case records.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
* Experience with charities, advice services, or advocacy roles is advantageous.
