We’re working with a brilliant primary school looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil on a 1:1 basis from September 2025 until the end of the academic year.
The pupil is bright, full of character, and needs consistent support to thrive in class. You’ll be their go-to adult—helping them navigate learning, manage routines, and feel safe and supported throughout the day.
What the role involves:
Tailored 1:1 classroom support
Supporting learning, behaviour, and wellbeing
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Helping the pupil communicate and engage with peers
Tracking progress and celebrating small wins
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
✔️ Experience supporting children with SEND (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or similar)
✔️ A calm, encouraging approach
✔️ Strong communication skills and patience in spades
✔️ The confidence to work independently and as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
