We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and dedicated Band 5 RGN/ODP who would like to work part-time in our First Stage Recovery department.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills who thrive in a well-supported clinical environment, that aims for excellency of care under our Trust values and vision.
We offer support through a range of courses, study days and online learning.
Main duties of the job
The First Stage Recovery team is part of Theatres and manages patients in the immediate post-anaesthetic period. The unit sees a mixture of paediatric and adult patients undergoing day and inpatient procedures over a range of specialities.
We are a small and friendly team with a real involvement in our unit, committed to deliver the best possible care to our patients and to support the wider theatre team.
You must be willing to work a range of shifts to cover the service and be happy to work closely with a multidisciplinary team as well as to work alone once competent.
