Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Band 6 Occupational Therapy rotations in Carmarthenshire. Carmarthenshire benefits from surrounding countryside and the great outdoors, whilst also being next to the M4.
Our band 6 rotations are 9 months and include:
* front of house,
* community,
* medical/frailty,
* Community Team for Learning Disabilities
Our teams are very supportive and friendly, providing valuable rehabilitation focused on individual needs, supporting an integrated model of care that promotes faster recovery and timely discharge from hospital. As part of an integrated team, you will work closely with intermediate care and community services.

Main duties of the job
* Operate as an autonomous practitioner, managing a varied and often complex caseload, using specialist knowledge of occupational therapy to assess, plan, modify, and evaluate interventions tailored to clients’ circumstances.
* Work as part of a multi-professional and/or multi-agency team to deliver a coordinated, person-focused service.
* Formulate clinical decisions and develop person-centered plans based on assessments, evidence-based guidance, and clinical pathways.
* Plan, organize, and deliver therapeutic interventions across hospital and home settings, independently or with team members.
* Educate and demonstrate techniques to individuals and families to support ongoing recovery.
* Delegate clinical work to team members such as Support Workers and students, following relevant policies.
